With open houses, forums, meetings, lectures, blogs, consortium, show-and-tell, and networking events, World Constitution Day is a global celebration of one of the world’s greatest human inventions; a "constitution".

Generating excitement about Constitutions

Citizens, organizations and companies can support this international day by hosting their own event. This is a chance for members of the public to get together and dive into their own national constitution within the context of other national constitutions while meeting the people that share their interests.

Throughout the world people rely everyday on a written constitution for guidance in policy, business, manufacturing, tourism, aviation, science, engineering, life care, education, media, communication and in many more roles.

Plans for the Big Day

A central focus of the entire day will be a Zoom celebration of speakers in 15 minute intervals throughout the day. These speakers have been selected based on their expertise in constitutional law, professional acumen and educational outreach experience. Each rapid and succinct lecture is between 4-8 minutes long, and may be followed by a Q&A segment. Speakers join in from around the world, making this a true global celebration of constitutions.

Zoom Platform for Speakers and Audience

The Zoom platform enables both speakers and observers to join in one event, while providing a global educational phenomenon. Zoom Link details will be provided on this web site in advance of August 1st.

Schedule for the Date - 15 minute increments all day long

The event will start at midnight Lugano Time, and run in 15 minute increments by schedule. Note: Lugano, Switzerland, is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (CEST/UTC+2) during the summer. This is a Zoom Presentation with Live and Pre-recorded Speakers on Important Constitutional Topics rotating every 15 minutes. Tips on Preparing your 5-8 minute Lecture

Here are some helpful ideas for those of you participating in World Constitution Day.

You can do this in pre-recorded fashion (recommended) or live on Zoom on August 1st.
